Winner: Christmas Design-A-Match-Day-Programme Competition
The Bulls Foundation launched a competition for primary school aged children to design the front cover of a Jersey Bulls match programme.
The winning entrant’s design appeared on the cover of Jersey Bulls’ programme for its match against Spelthorne Sports on 21 December 2024.
Close to 50 entries were received and, following a rigorous selection process, the winners were presented with a copy of the match programme with the design on the cover. The winners also received complimentary match tickets and some Bulls merchandise. Their prizes were presented before the match by Bulls winger Miguel Carvalho and centre back Sammy Sutcliffe.
The winning designs were chosen by a panel made up of Alan Williams (Jersey Bulls School Liaison Officer), Jack Gibbins (Programme editor) and Bill Gibbins (Competition organiser).
Bill said “The standard of the designs was fantastic! It was tough to choose an overall winner but eventually we were unanimous with our decision. Huge congratulations to Woody, and to the three runners-up - Adam, Phoebe and Violet - for their wonderful designs!”
